Machhindra FC have made history after becoming the first Nepali team to sign a Brazilian player. Daniel Baroni, an attacking midfielder, arrived today in Kathmandu and will be available to play against Nepal Police Club on Sunday.

Baroni last played for PSM Makassar of Indonesia. He started his career at Brazilian giants Atlético Mineiro. His current home is in Barcelona, Spain.

On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Baroni told mfcnepal.com, “I’m here and I am ready. Let’s play some futobol!”
